Miami has an active and vibrant street art scene. The center of the Graffiti activity is located in Wynwood one of the city’s most happening districts. This Puerto Rican neighborhood used to be a sketchy part of town less than 10 years ago but is now rapidly being gentrified as hip bars, stylish bistros, craft breweries and fancy art galleries are taking over the old warehouses. This area is fascinating because it never stops to change as graffiti artists keep creating new murals on a daily basis. I created this video as a tribute to the beautiful artworks that can be seen in the streets of Miami and Wynwood. In a sense, street art is the most accessible and democratic form of art since anybody can see it from the public space, days and night, all year around without any limitations. ? A new project in Santiago, Chile is making the city's street art accessible to the blind for the first time ever. The city created tactile versions of outdoor artworks throughout so people with visual impairments can touch and feel the art. The “Hands on the Wall” project has installed six miniature versions of murals on plaques throughout the city, which also include descriptions in Braille and audio guides. Accessibility features are common in museums and galleries but rare for public art. The initiative is publicly funded and jointly organized by the Mu.Cho Association for Inclusive Culture and the Museum of Visual Arts in Santiago. Découvrez le domaine du @labelvalettefestival, à mi-chemin entre l'urbex et le street art ! Ce château a été construit en 1864 Marie Joseph BOUEDEC dont les initiales (JB) figurent sur la grille en ouverture de vidéo. Il se trouve au cœur d’un parc de 38 hectares. C'est à partir de 1893 que le château accueille le Vicomte et la Vicomtesse Albert Isle Beaucheine. Quelques années plus tard, le Vicomte décède, et son épouse fera ériger une chapelle à quelques centaines de mètres du château pour y abriter sa dépouille. La vicomtesse occupera les lieux jusqu'en 1924. À sa mort, elle rejoint la dépouille de son mari dans la crypte de la chapelle. Après quelques années d’abandon, le château est acheté par les républicains espagnols et devient un lieu d’accueil des émigrés politiques fuyant le régime de Franco. L’histoire raconte que les cercueils auraient disparus à l’arrivée des espagnols sur le domaine … Dans les années 70, le domaine se transforme et devient un collège espagnol jusqu’à la fin des années 80. Par la suite sa fonction évolue en centre culturel et enfin en centre de vacances. L’ambassade d’Espagne qui avait en charge la gestion du domaine, le délaisse peu à peu avant d’être vendu à la commune de Pressigny-les pins en 2002. C’est à cette période que le château va etre livré à lui-même. Aujourd’hui le collectif d’urbanart, a invité plus de 100 artistes à venir exprimer leur art sur l’ensemble du domaine. Le graffeur OKUDA à notamment décoré la façade principale. Mathieu Dagorn à quant à lui investit la chapelle. Les deux bâtiments des dortoirs accueillent dans chaque pièce une ambiance différente. When I lived in Nerja in 2017, Málaga was just a €4.50 bus ride away. So I often went there, and I was impressed by all the gorgeous street art I stumbled upon. When I moved to Granada later that year, I learned that the city has even more fantastic street art than Málaga. It sometimes feels like going to an art gallery, just by walking down a street. This is a few of my favorites. The photos were captured in 2017 and 2018.

London Kaye: My name is London Kaye, and I'm a street artist here in Brooklyn. Everything I make is made out of yarn. Yarn bombing is when you take a piece of crochet or knit and you wrap it around something, usually outside. I think it's great, because it takes that craft of your grandma that holds so much nostalgia and is almost reinventing it in a whole new way. I started crocheting when I was 13, I sold scarves to my friends and girls at my dance studio when I was growing up. After I graduated college, I was working at Apple, 9-5 job, and knew there was more to life than selling computers. So, I took one of my scarves I made and wrapped it around a tree outside of my house in Bed Stuy, Brooklyn and left it there. It started catching on, I haven't stopped since. Coming up with a piece, it always starts with an idea, and I get inspiration from current events, things going on in pop culture, bright colors; anything that kind of interests me. From there, sometimes, I'll draw it out, water down the shapes to the most basic shapes; from the sketch I crochet it, I glue it all together, and then I hang it up on the fence. I'll go through and tie each string up on the fence, cut the strings, take a photo and I'm out. I usually put up my crocheted art on chain link fence. When I started out, I had no idea it would be such a perfect canvas, because it allows you to stretch and manipulate the yarn. I also love doing it out of a water pipe or unexpected objects that usually wouldn't see crocheted. I like to mix a lot of different colors and textures together to create a bit more depth. I print my own crochet hooks on 3D printers, I actually just got a patent approved a few weeks ago. My crochet art usually lasts about two weeks. It's not the weather that hurts the crochet. The yarn does very well in rain or snow, in the heat. It's usually people that take it, but I tell myself whoever takes it, loves it so much, they can't live without it, and that kind of keeps me going. Out of the, probably 400 yarn bombs I've hung up, I've been stopped four times. I never got officially in trouble by the police and hopefully I'm going strong with that record. Right from the start, people started reaching out, brands started reaching out to me, asking them to do marketing campaigns, advertising campaigns. A couple of my favorite brand collaborations I've done is: a capsule collection with Red Valentino, which is a fashion brand based out of Rome, and I got to do 14 different store windows around the world and open up two new stores and do a capsule collection of crochet clothes; dream. I got to do a 25-foot by 50-foot billboard in Times Square for Miller Lite beer, all crocheted. I've worked on a Gap commercial crocheting a school bus. I've crocheted high heels for Sarah Jessica Parker. My favorite piece is a crocheted dragon I put up, it was on 6th Avenue between 14th and 15th street and stretched for about 20 feet. It was shooting fire out of its mouth. When it got pulled down, the community came back with ribbons saying where's my dragon, who took my dragon and it was the first time I got to see, wow, this art really does affect the people that live here and see it every day. Everybody has that connection to yarn, so no matter who it is, young, old, where they're from, they've seen crochet. I just love bringing unexpected joy to people's day and I think that's what street art does. I am a really big "[The] Amazing Race" fan, so I was at a sushi restaurant one night and I met the host of "The Amazing Race." We got to talking and somehow, I ended up on a season of "The Amazing Race." I came in third place. The crochet did not help at all, I was really hoping for, like, a crochet challenge, or a crochet challenge, or a crochet challenge. No.

This is a Music Video Cover for the song Should I Stay or Should I Go by The Clash. This creation features videos of scenery in both Arizona and Utah. One of the items I wanted to capture was the graffiti, which displayedt issues that need to be persued. Also, in the video are thousands of mating velvet ants. The ants with wings are the males. It was awesome to see so many velvet ants in a concentrated area. So, like the shuffling ants, should we stay- continuing down this distructive path; or should we go- & change our behavior towards this planet?

Le conditionnel reste de mise, mais il semblerait que Banksy soit de retour en France, à Paris. Dans cette série de six nouvelles œuvres disséminées dans la capitale, Banksy fait figurer un Napoléon aveuglé par sa cape ou encore un homme tenant un os devant un chien à la patte coupée. A travers une de ses œuvres, Banksy s'engage notamment sur la politique migratoire. Le pochoir le plus commenté montre une petite fille noire recouvrant une croix gammée par des fleurs roses. L'œuvre est située près de l'ancien centre d'accueil des réfugiés du XVIIIe arrondissement, démantelé en mars dernier.

https://www.blackdogadvertising.com A Little Bit of Wynwood Finds its Way to The Falls Miami marketing firm BlackDog Advertising decided to enliven their industrial neighborhood digs with a splash of color by commissioning a large mural on their building’s facade, located in The Falls area near Pinecrest, Florida. The finished work, hand painted by artists Patrick Kane McGregor and Anthony J. Garcia, both of Denver, CO, took roughly 5 days to complete and has since garnered a lot of attention.

MAUA, the first museum of augmented urban art, has been inspired by the idea of structuring previously unseen cultural routes outside the city centre and beyond the traditional art destinations. 50 works of street art brought to life in augmented reality provide the perfect opportunity to explore city neighbourhoods that are generally off the beaten track. You get started by choosing your preferred route and once you reach the site, the experience unfolds digitally: look at the pieces through your smartphone and watch it transform into a work of digital art, specially created for the museum using augmented reality technology.
Vasakronan, Sweden's largest property company, thought the stairwell in its headquarters in Stockholm was gray and boring. Or as they themselves put it; "We would turn our stairwell from an irrelevant passage into an urban art exhibition". To their help, they had Sweden's best street art artists. Kozica & Daniel got the pleasure to take care of floor 2. As usual, Henrietta took care of the color cans while Daniel was taking care of the camera. The specially written music for the film was produced a few days before the job. In that way, Daniel could shoot so the pictures fit perfectly with the music. With this mural painting Henrietta took a new step in her art. She painted industrial elements such as pipes, clutches and various gauges among her flowers, trees and plant elements. The reflective beautiful copper color fits perfectly into her green world. And she gave confidence to Daniel to paint the basics of copper pipes. It was his premiere with the spray can. For the third year in a row, Morocco's sprawling capital of Rabat has hosted the Jidar Street Art Festival. The urban event celebrates the city's rich multicultural tapestry, through a series of massive hand-painted murals.
The Maqtha Art District is an installment of street art and murals throughout a small slum in Hyderabad which has been put up in the last two years (2016 & 2017). An abandoned concrete silo looms over The Nations neighborhood, eerie and empty. The historic Nashville landmark was nearly torn down. Instead, it’s becoming the centerpiece of the community’s redevelopment. A 15-story painting has unfolded, revealing an elderly man who lived nearly all his life within sight of the silo. The artist is Australian Guido Van Helten, an internationally acclaimed muralist known for large-scale portraits that are so realistic they look like they could be oversized photographs. He uses a nearly black and white paint palette, allowing the gritty emotion of his subject to come through. And he likes to make a statement by painting local people. For the Nations, Van Helten chose 91-year-old Lee Estes, known to friends as LD. He has called this neighborhood home since the late 1920s. You can find amazing graffiti here in Stockholm! I brought my camera and the brand new Moza AirCross gimbal to the Magic City Stockholm exhibition. Some stunning skills in there, as well as at the outdoor exhibition in Snösätra, which I also visited. I used the AirCross gimbal in every shot and it worked extremely well, was easy to handle and lightweight. The camera I used was Sony A6300 together with Sigma 16mm f/1.4. The music in the video is my own creation.

In what is a first for a Cape Town retail centre, street art is being incorporated as a dominant feature in the ARTEM galleria in Sea Point. The entire parking area for the ultra-luxurious centre, which is situated on Sea Point’s Main Road, will become a giant canvas, featuring the edgy designs of a young group of street artists from Pretoria, Visualz Khorr, who have been commissioned to turn the blank walls into an urban gallery. The video was shot at ARTEM Galleria during December 2017 and is the third in a series by videographer Eden Weiss.

Faces Places (French: Visages Villages) is a 2017 French documentary film directed by Agnès Varda and JR. The film follows Varda and JR traveling around rural France, creating portraits of the people they come across. It was screened out of competition at the 2017 Cannes Film Festival where it won the L'Œil d'or award. It is nominated for the 2018 Oscars.

Each Artist had a Youth Apprentice that helped assist and learn from them.
